Structures in the Marine Environment - How do we plan for the future?

SIME 2021 is already nearly six months behind us. The event was a resounding success with an extensive programme of discussion and debate.

The Ecological Role of Structures in the Marine Environment and how we should plan for the future, a session led by Professor David Paterson at SIME 2021 brough together all of the second phase of INSITE projects which are currently progressing across UK based marine science research institutions.

We heard about aspects of data acquisition technology and modelling and how these factors come together to build the body of scientific knowledge we have available to decision makers.
